W&F Celebration, Volcanic Wines, Wine Tasting Cooking Classes - July 26-28

With special guest, John Szabo, master sommelier from Canadaand author of Volcanic Wines: Salt Grit and Power, we have planned a stimulating weekend of cooking and wine tastings at our W&F Celebrationfrom Friday 26 - Sunday 28 July and we are delighted to be part of Auckland's new 

Famous volcanic regions include wines from the slopes of Mount Etna in Sicily,  Canary Islands, The Azores, the Dundee Hills in Oregon, Mount Vesuvius and the Yamanashi region located near Mount Fuji in Japan. 

In a series of tastings, John will discuss wines sourced from volcanic regions around the world and at the same time offer insights on a selection of local wines from Auckland's own celebrated Volcanic Field. This is a unique opportunity to learn more about this intriguing subject.

For those undercover food photographers, who love to post images of the best food experiences, we have the perfect evening planned.

At the #Foodography dinner you will learn the secrets behind clever food styling to capture that distinctive angle that makes an original Instagramable image. This is a two-person experience and you will also get to sit down and eat your creation with a glass of wine…once you have uploaded that perfect image.
